The Top 10 Things I Have Learned in Europe

1.       Europeans dress VERY well! I swear that half of these people just happened to wrap up a photo shoot, and then came to get a bite from the café. I felt so underdressed. And in Paris, I especially felt like a grubby American. France has the most attractive men in the world! Holy Freaking Cow! These men are so incredibly good looking! They dress so well (usually in suits) and put the American boys to shame. Sorry fellas!

2.       It’s always 5 o’clock in Europe! There is no “acceptable time” to drink, because it’s ALWAYS a good time to drink! There are old men having a glass of wine with their morning danish.

3.       Paris is nothing more than a giant ash tray. You are not a true Parisian unless you smoke at least one pack a day. Seriously, everyone and their great uncle’s dog smokes! So asthmatics beware! (But thankfully I survived with no problems)

4.       Don’t attempt to drive anywhere in or near the big cites! The traffic is nuts! It’s worse than LA. And believe it or not, the drivers are even worse here than in LA also.

5.       When walking across the street, (especially in Paris) just go! With all the One-Way streets and the insane number of pedestrians, the cars will usually stop. They do have cross walks, but the locals are so aggressive and usually just ignore them. So when in doubt, just close your eyes and walk strait, and you will most likely make it to the other side in one piece.

6.       French people are actually very nice! When I got lost, they were more than willing to help me out. And most of them speak English, but they appreciate it when you at least try to speak some French.

7.       It is possible to survive on bread, chocolate and waffles for days at a time.

8.       Here, you can park anywhere. Even sidewalks are acceptable.

9.       Always have at least 50 cents in your pocket in case you need to  use the public toilet because sometimes you need to pay. Its so stupid!

10.   Almost every town has a Red Light District. (Some even have more than one) And if they do have one, it is almost certain that I will accidentally find it, because so far I have found 4!
